เมื่อวันมาฆบูชาตั้งใจจะพาเพื่อนเพื่อนต่างชาติไปดูงานวัดที่ภูเขาทองหลังจากไปหาอะไรทานที่ถนนพระอาทิตย์ พอหาที่จอดรถริมถนนได้ร้านที่ตั้งใจจะไปนั่งทานก็ดันปิดวันหยุด ทำให้ต้องตาลีตาเหลือกหาแผนสองที่ต้องทำให้ประทับใจแขกบ้านแขกเมืองของเรา เลยลองมั่วบอกเพื่อนไปว่าร้านน่ากินน่าจะอยู่ติดแม่น้ำ (หารู้ไม่ว่าไม่เคยมาทานเล้ย) เลยแอบเห็นป้ายร้านอยู่หน้าตรอกแคบๆมืดๆ ก็บอกให้เพื่อนรออยู่ข้างนอกก่อน เดี๋ยวจ๊อชจะเข้าไปสำรวจ ประมาณว่าตรอกแอบน่ากลัว แต่พอเดินเข้าไปไม่กี่ก้าว ก็มาดึงเพื่อนเข้าไปนั่งกินเลย เพราะว่าร้านบรรยากาศดีมากครับ ดูสงบ เป็นส่วนตัว เพราะไม่มีแสงไฟฟลูโอเรสเซนต์เหมือนร้านข้าวต้มที่สว่างจ้าทะลุถึงไส้ถึงพุง

ผนังในตรอกนั้นมีภาพวาดน่ารักของสายน้ำเจ้าพระยากับปลาตะเพียนสีทอง (ออกมาจากปากท่านพระยา) ด้านบนคลุมด้วยไม้เลื้อยทำให้มองไม่เห็นตึกคอนกรีตข้างๆ แสงไฟในโคมสังกะสีค่อยๆนำเราเข้าสู่ส่วนของบาร์ ซึ่งเดิมแล้วร้านนี้ตั้งเมื่อปี 2550 โดยเจ้าของเก่าทำกิจการท่าเรือ แล้วปรับปรุงมาเป็นร้านอาหารให้เหมาะกับย่าน อาคารเป็นอาคารทรงไทยผนังไม้ทาสีเข้มกับแสงไฟหลอดไส้ ร้านอาหารมีระเบียงที่ติดกับแม่น้ำด้วยครับ ส่วนมากคนจะออกมานั่งกับตรงนี้ มารับลมเอ่ยๆ ใต้ต้นโพธิ์

อาหารที่นี่ก็เลือกสรรค์วัตถุดิบที่ดีครับ เมนูที่ผมติดใจคงเป็น แกงเผ็ดเป็ดย่าง กับหมูมะนาว ที่มีความพิเศษในการเลือกสรรค์วัตถุดิบ ทั้งสองเมนูนี้ถือว่ายังไม่เคยทานที่ไหนอร่อยเท่านี้มาก่อนครับ แกงเผ็ดเป็ดย่าง ซดซะน้ำแห้ง ที่พิเศษก็คงเป็นเนื้อเป็ดที่นุ่มและไม่คาว แถมหั่นมาเป็นแว่นขนาดพอดีคำ และหมูมะนาวซึ่งไม่ต้มให้สุกเหนียวเกินไป จะมีความนุ่มและเลือกในส่วนที่มีมัน เสริฟพร้อมน้ำจิ้ม อย่างไรก็ดีต้องมาช่วงที่ไม่ใช่เทศกาล หรือตอนกุ๊กเหนื่อยนะครับ เนื้อนุ่มๆอาจจะกลายเป็นเหนียวได้ และก็อย่าถือสากับการบริการมากนักนะครับ Down to earth เป็นประโยคที่แนะนำในการไปร้านนี้ ถ้ามาช่วงไม่ดึกก็จะดีกว่าดึกมาก เพราะไม่ค่อยประทับใจกับพนักงานชายเท่าไหร่ ซึ่งก็ดูเหมือนเขาจะสับการบริการให้พนักงานหญิงกลับก่อน และพนักงานชายมาเข้ากะอีกที 

โดยรวมแล้ว คุณภาพอาหาร บรรยากาศ ความเป็นส่วนตัว ความรวดเร็วในการเสิรฟอาหารถือว่าใช้ได้ครับ ก็ถ้าจะหลับตาคิดหาร้าน romantic แถวถนนพระอาทิตย์ก็คงไม่มีร้านไหนจะเหมาะกับร้านนี้แล้วครับ ผมว่าถ้าหากจะหาย่านที่ romantic ที่สุดในกรุงเทพแล้วก็คงต้องยกให้ย่านพระนคร หากท่านผู้ว่ากทม. จะช่วยพัฒนาให้เป็นย่านแห่งศิลปะ อาหาร และวัฒนธรรม อีกเดี๋ยวกทม. เราก็ไม่น้อยหน้ามหานครปารีสแล้วครับ

Following to the Nest chair, the stool and bench are the following wooden craft project that we build up a little workshop to work with the skillful wood craftsmen to imitate a weaving pattern to the wood furniture aspect and study on joinery and interlocking.

The repetitive lines are intrigued to accent a craft skill.

ปี๋ใหม่นี้ไปแอ่วเหนือกันเจ้า ระหว่างทางขึ้นเชียงใหม่อย่าลืมแวะไปกินก๋วยเตี๋ยวตรงสี่แยกวัดพระธาตุลำปางหลวง ถนนฝั่งตรงข้ามกับถนนไปวัดพระธาตุจากสี่แยกทางหลวง ขับมาซักพักก่อนถึงสี่แยกที่สอง ก็จะเจอกับร้านก๋วยเตี๋ยวที่อยากจะแนะนำ หนึ่งในของดีที่ต้องมากินประจำเมืองตาไก่

ร้านนี้ใช่ว่าจะขี้งก เพราะก๋วยเตี๋ยวทั้งชามให้ลูกชิ้นมาลูกเดียว พอเดินมาถึงหน้าร้านก็ต้องตะลึงกับขนาด Super big (meat,pork) ball ที่วางเรียงพะเินินกองกันอยู่เหนือเตา ลูกชิ้นขนาดกำปั้นเด็กที่เนื้อแน่น กัดหนึบ เต็มคำ แถมกัดให้มันสะใจหายหมั่นเขี้ยว เสริฟแบบorigin ต้องสั่งน้ำใสลูกชิ้นหมู เส้นทั้งนุ่ม หนึบๆ

Tip สำหรับมาทานร้านนี้คือ พยายามมาขณะที่ยังหิวมากเพราะคุณควรจะลอง ข้าวซอยเนื้อตุ๋น อีกจาน เนื้อชนิดละลายในปากหวานนุ่ม มาพร้อมกับผักสด หอม มะนาว

COCO HIGH RISE

Bangkok Design Festival

Coco High Rise is an experimented vertical garden. The aim is to store the plants in a limited space and cooperate with a new function. The Beauty of an orchid or a rare plant has emphasized inside this circle column.

The curve lines was inspired by an orchid branch. The columns can be arranged freely in a straight or half circle partition to make a space divide on a terrace for you private party for an afternoon tea with friends among the flora wall.

We has created the Oasis collection of outdoor furniture and lighting that allows greenery to become a living textile within the pieces. By covering the Spanish moss around a metal frame, Oasis Lalune can also use it as an outdoor lampshade that is meant to embellish any portable lamp. Simply hangs a portable electric lamp (from a garage) inside the container and bind a cable to a lamp’s leg. An instant floor-lamp is ready for any open air - chic party.

สุดสัปดาห์นี้ ผมกับเพื่อนๆหนีปัญหาไปหาความสุขกันในหุบเขาริมทะเลหัวหิน สถานการณ์บ้านเมืองเครียดเช่นนี้ ต้องกิน กิน และกินครับ หลังจากที่เพื่อนๆมันชิ่งกันมาหลายอาทิตย์ สุดท้ายรวมตัวกันได้สามคนก็หนีไปหัวหินดีก่า เราจึงเดินทางตามฝันจากหนังสือพิมพ์สุดสัปดาห์ ตามหาไร่ไวน์ (ซึ่งผู้ออกแบบอาคารเป็นชาวสิงค์โปร์ที่เคยร่วมงานกับ Norman Foster สถาปนิกระดับโลก แค่นี้ก็ทำให้พวกเราเหล่าเด็กถาปัดต้องออกดิ้นรนไปดูกันครับ)

อย่างไรก็ดีก่อนถึงไร่ไวน์ วัดห้วยมงคลอยู่ใน Package การเดินทางที่ขอแนะนำไปเสริมกำลังใจครับ เพราะเป็นเส้นทางเดียวกัน พักรถเดินไปเคารพรูปเคารพหลวงปู่ทวดที่วัดห้วยมงคล แต่อย่าเผลอไปรับศีลข้อไม่ดื่มสุรา เพราะเดี๋ยวจะต้องผิดศีลโกหกไปอีกข้อ เพราะอดที่จะลิ้มลองรสชาดไวน์ที่เราเรียกกันว่า “ไวน์โลกใหม่” (ชีลี ออสเตรเลีย ญี่ปุ่น อเมริกา)ไม่ได้

สำหรับผมแล้วไวน์โลกใหม่ก็คือไวน์ที่รสเรียบง่าย ไม่ซับซ้อน (และไม่ต้องใช้ความรู้มาก) ไม่ยึดติดกับประเพณีที่ “ไวน์โลกเก่า” (ฝรั่งเศส อิตาลี) พยายามรักษาไว้ เช่น การไม่ผสมพันธุ์ไวน์หลายพันธุ์ในขวดเดียว การที่ไม่แสดงชื่อพันธุ์ไวน์แต่แสดงสถานที่ผลิต เพราะเชื่อมั่นว่าสถานที่และความรู้มีผลต่อรสชาดมากกว่าประเภทขององุ่น อาจจะเป็นเพราะเหตุนี้นี่เองที่ไวน์โลกใหม่ค่อนข้างจะแบ่งตามประเภทของพันธุ์องุ่นเหมือนน้ำผลไม้ และเลือกที่จะผสมหลายพันธ์เพราะเป็นวิธีง่ายที่สุดที่จะให้ได้รสชาดที่เป็นเฉพาะตัว ผมเองพอจะทราบรสได้คร่าวๆ จากการดมไวน์ แต่ไวน์ที่เข้าไปชิมที่ไร่เป็นไวน์ผสม มีกลิ่น aroma ที่ดมแล้วถึงกับงงว่าเอ แล้วมันจะมีรสเป็นอย่างไร จึงได้ถือโอกาสทำ wine taste ไปเลย ฮิ ฮิ ขอเริ่มจากไวน์ขาวนะครับ

-ไวน์ขาว ขาวจั๊วะ และใส (ใสแจ๋วเป็นน้ำเลยครับ) เป็นไวน์แห้งที่มีกลิ่นและรสชาดแอลกอฮอล์เจือจางความแห้งและรสเปรี้ยว

-ไวน์ Rosé ปกติดื่มเวลาอากาศร้อน ดื่มเย็นๆให้ชื่นใจ สำหรับที่นี่จะมีรสตรงกลาง ที่พอสังเกตจะมีความขมแปร่งอยู่ตรงกลาง

-ไวน์แดง ชีราส ยังค่อนข้างเด็ก เน้นดื่มสบาย ง่ายๆ เบาๆ ทานกับอาหาร ตามที่เขียนไว้ที่จุกคอร์กครับ คือดื่มกับ Spicy foodดี

-ไวน์แดงผสมมะละกา และชีราส และอะไรอีกจำไม่ได้ มีกลิ่นที่เฉพาะตัวครับ แต่รสชาติของแอลกอฮอล์ทำให้รสของไวน์จางไปหน่อย สำหรับคนชอบกลิ่นหอม ก็น่าจะลองได้ครับ แต่คนที่ชอบไวน์จริงๆน่าจะเลือก ไวน์แดง ชีราส พรีเมียม ครับ

ก่อนที่จะมาถึง คิดว่าราคาไวน์จะแพง แต่ขายกันใน fair price ครับ คือไวน์แดง ชีราสก็ประมาณ 400 กว่าๆ และราคาก็ไล่เลี่ยกัน ส่วนคุณภาพอาหารนั้นสามารถอธิบายได้จากอากัปกิริยาครับ ผมและเพื่อนๆ ได้สั่ง เฟรนช์ไฟร์ ประทัดทอง สลัดทูน่า ซีซ่าสลัด สปาเก็ตตี้ขี้เมา ribeye แค่ชิมก็ถึงกับตาโตมองหน้ากัน ซอสครีมกระเทียมของเฟรนช์ไฟร์ สลัดถือว่าดีมากครับ ส่วนเส้นสปาเก็ตตี้ เส้นกำลังพอดีและทุกเส้นมีซอสขี้เมาเคลือบตลอดเส้น กุ้ง ปลาหมึกสดมากครับ เนื้อเสต๊กก็นุ่มดี(แต่เสียดายเค็มไปหน่อย อันนี้แจ้งพนักงานแล้วครับ) เป็นรสชาดอาหารที่กำลังพอเหมาะกับไวน์รสเรียบ ทำให้ทานอาหารคล่องขึ้นเยอะ รักษาคุณภาพต่อไปนะครับ และพัฒนาคุณภาพไวน์ต่อไปเรื่อยๆ เพื่อพวกเราชาว “กินอย่างราชา อยู่อย่างยาจก”

และแล้วก็ได้เวลาเดินทางกลับ และขอบคุณไร่ไวน์ Siam Winery สำหรับ My “One fine day” ครับ จากใจครับ

ข้อแนะนำ- ถนนไม่ค่อยดีนะครับ ขับช้าๆ ถ้าจะเดินทางมาควรพยายามมาถึงช่วง 16.30 น. (ร้านปิดประมาณ 18.00 แต่เลิกรับ Order ประมาณ 17.00) แล้วเปิดกระจกรถก่อนที่เข้าไร่ไวน์ จะได้กลิ่นหอมจางๆที่คล้ายดอกราตรีในอากาศเย็น และแสงสวยๆจากพระอาทิตย์ที่แอบหนีลงในช่องเขาครับ รับรองโรแมนติกมัดใจ

I visited Wat “PraTart Lampang Luang” (Royal-Lampang Temple) almost every time when I have a chance to go to the factory. However my recent visit had an important purpose to be there. I had got a bad news about my friend on the phone; she had a brain surgery after a motorbike hit her on a side road. Then, what I can do for her is go to the temple and pray for her.

Wat PraTart Lampang Luang is located in Lampang province; the capital of Lanna kingdom (a kingdom in the north of Thailand). This temple is a heart of Lanna culture. The North Buddhist has a great respect on the Chedi (a building in bell shape for collect the Buddha bones) as they believe that the Buddha bone was send from India by his apprentices to this temple over 300 years B.C. The Chedi had been build over the top of the old Chedi time after time until got this shape in year 1496 A.C. This is one of the best condition wood temples in Thailand. Different from Center of Thailand, instead of glass mosaic and wood crafting, this temple was decorated by the dedicated stuccowork and the golden paint on wood panel.

During the Loykratong Festival (a floating candle festival), the north people call this festival as YeePeng (means 12^th); this is an occasion for Lanna people to celebrate the Buddha ash in the temple and wish for their happiness. That day, there were many Thais and tourists pulling a bucket attached to a rope to pour the water at the top of Chedi. I was clumsy in the crowd without knowing how to do a ritual for my friend. Then an old guy offer me 3 candles banded with a paper written in Lanna alphabet. He suggested me to write her name and light it under the Chedi to pray for her.

After I finish the ritual, I spotted a small building on the corner with some people climb up on a steep stair way. By curiosity, I follow them inside a room and right after a wooden door was closed, the miracle was appeared to me. The light, which passes through a little hold over the wooden door, projected an upside down Chedi shadow. This shadow was so clear and colorful until you can observe the people walking around or even the clouds in the sky. This building was build to preserve a Buddha foot print since 1449 A.C.

However, a woman is not allowed to visit this room. It maybe because of the step is too steep and high. It is not polite that the woman and her sarong will be in a higher position then a Buddha relic or a monk. Woman can also see this color shadow from another hall in front of a small building but less sharp. I have heard about this shadow from my friend but I had never been imagining that the shadow was as clear as the light from the projector. Thus I wish that by the miracle of Buddha relic, this can help my friend to pass her difficult moment.
